Plenary Indulgence Guidelines to Obtain Our Lady of Loreto, Patroness of all those who travel by air indulgence

Aloha!  Here are the guidelines to obtain the Plenary Indulgence.  There are military chapels at Schofield Barracks (Main Post Chapel and Soldiers Chapel), Wheeler Army Airfield, AMR, Tripler Army Medical Hospital, Marine Corps Base Hawaii and Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (Pearl Harbor Chapel and Hickam Chapel). You can visit the chapels while they are open, and pray for the intentions listed below.  When you celebrate Mass, receive Holy Communion, and Absolution within eight days, the indulgence will be received!

Diocesan Youth Day is 27 October

Diocesan Youth Day is 27 October at St. Ann Parish in Kaneohe, Oahu.  This year’s theme is Chosen. Fearless. Aloha family! Please continue your prayers for everyone’s safety ❤️. For planning purposes please know that there will be no Mass or Religious Education this Sunday at either chapel. AMS Catechist Certification

AMS Catechist Certification is available in a classroom setting on 28-29 September at Hickam Chapel Center and it’s incredible!  Jose Amaya will be here from the AMS to conduct the training.  We prefer for all our catechists to be AMS certified, and even if you aren’t currently teaching, we are willing to invest in you and have you attend for future commitments you have not made yet!  The certification is good for three years. Main Post Chapel Family Night!

Catholic Family Night is coming! Starting on Wednesday, August 22 at 1800, we will offer weekly sessions using the Growing Up Catholic resources.
